International School Award
At Cleeve, we are proud to have been awarded the International School Award. This award supports the school in embedding international learning into the curriculum. Working towards it gives pupils and teachers a new perspective on the world, and the skills to work in a global economy. Our international co-ordinator Miss Jennings has formed an international club and within this has formed links with a school in Africa called Great Valley Children’s Centre. The children regularly write letters explaining their day to day lives and are encouraged to think about the similarities and differences. They also take part in some of our international days.

Each term we hold international days in order to bring the world into the children’s classroom. Children have the opportunity to experience other cultures, beliefs, languages, food and history.
